Air Admittance Valve

Negative Pressure Elimination Valve for Sewage

Astral’s Air Admittance Valves are designed to address the issue of negative air pressure that occurs in sewage systems when sanitary facilities are utilized. This negative pressure can lead to the siphons losing water due to the flow of sewage. By providing an air supply to the sewage system, air admittance valves effectively counterbalance negative air pressure. Astral Air Admittance Valves are manufactured in accordance with the latest European standards and are capable of operating within a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.

Features & Benefits

  • Eliminates the generation of negative pressure in the system
  • Prevents the spread of sewer gases and bad odours
  • Helps to improve the performance of a sewage system – facilitates sewage discharge.
  • Eliminates the possibility of water coming out of siphons.
  • Reduces costs – smaller number of lead-through points in the roofs, not all risers have to be ventilated with a venting device.
