CPVC-AL-CPVC – 3 Layer Composite Pipes

Astral Multi Pro pipes are advanced multi-layered CPVC composite pipes which consist of an inner layer of CPVC, a middle layer of butt-welded aluminum, and an outside layer of CPVC. All the layers are bonded with an adhesive, specially formulated to withstand water temperature up to 93°C.

The three-layer construction of a pipe with a middle layer of aluminum provides strength to the pipe construction and reduces expansion and contraction. As these pipes are used in solar applications and are exposed to different weather conditions, the reduction in expansion and contraction keeps the joints intact.

Features & Benefits

FAQs

Multi Pro pipes offer several advantages over other pipe materials. The three-layer construction, with an aluminum layer sandwiched between two layers of CPVC, provides enhanced strength and durability. These pipes are resistant to expansion and contraction, ensuring that joints remain intact, even in varying weather conditions. Additionally, CPVC-AL-CPVC pipes can withstand water temperatures up to 93°C, making them suitable for hot water applications.

Yes, Multi Pro pipes are suitable for solar applications. Their three-layer construction, including the aluminum layer, helps to reduce expansion and contraction, making them reliable in environments with fluctuating temperatures. This characteristic ensures that the joints of the pipes remain intact, making them a suitable choice for solar installations.

Yes, Multi Pro pipes are designed to provide a continuous supply of both hot and cold water. The three-layer construction, along with the stability offered by the aluminum layer, enables efficient and reliable water distribution. Whether you require hot water for bathing or cold water for various domestic needs, MultiPro pipes are engineered to meet these demands.

Multi Pro pipes are specifically designed to handle high-temperature water systems. With a maximum water temperature resistance of up to 93°C, these pipes are suitable for a range of applications, including hot water supply in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. It is important to adhere to local plumbing codes and guidelines when installing Multi Pro pipes for high-temperature water systems.

Multi Pro pipes are known for their durability and long service life. When installed and used correctly, these pipes can last for several decades. However, the lifespan of the pipes can be influenced by various factors such as water quality, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.
